General Manager

Rupert Bowen joined Public Affairs Ireland in 2007 as General Manager. Formerly he worked in sales, marketing and publishing and management roles in the financial, telecoms and professional services industries and in education.


Education and Training

Helen Penet graduated in International Commerce with French at UCD in 1994 before moving to France where she obtained a PhD in 2002. She worked in professional training for almost 10 years, and subsequently researched and lectured in Irish Studies until 2008.
Aoife Collins
holds a BA in History and Politics and an MA in the History of International Relations from University College Dublin and has just submitted her PhD thesis. She has prior experience in planning, development and delivery of programmes as well as tutoring and student administration in UCD.

Publications

Timothy Smyth is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin where he studied History. He has taken all eight FE1s.

Marketing and Sales

Ivana Hajduova has held a number of senior sales positions in a number of companies here and abroad. She has a particular interest in human resources, training and education management. She has a Masters degree in Higher Education Management with a focus on History and English from Saints Cyril and Methodius College, in Trnava, Slovakia. She also has a post-graduate diploma from Griffith College Dublin. She has extensive experience in account management and business development

Administration and accounts

Maureen Noonan is an IATI qualified Accounting Technician and holds a Diploma in People Management from the National College of Ireland. Prior to joining PAI in 2008 she was an Accounts Assistant at accounting firm Mazars Chapman Flood, and has also held roles in customer service and administration in the retail and airline industries.
